The ‘Silver Round Trip’ is as varied and diverse as Mount Pilatus itself. From mid-May to mid-November, discover all facets of Lucerne's local mountain with the public train, the world's steepest cogwheel railway, the aerial cableway and the panorama gondolas.

The ‘Silver Round Trip’ is a highlight for railway enthusiasts. From Lucerne main station, it takes twenty minutes to travel along the shores of Lake Lucerne to Alpnachstad on the public railway. Here, the world's steepest cogwheel railway awaits you and takes you high up to the summit of Mount Pilatus. You will have plenty of time to enjoy the view during the leisurely journey. Another highlight awaits you on Mount Pilatus: the panoramic view of the Alpine mountain range.

Simply glide along: take the Dragon Ride aerial cableway and the panorama gondolas to Kriens valley station. From there, it's just a five-minute walk to the bus no. 1, which will take you to Lucerne railway station in a few minutes.
