Travelling to Kriens
By public transport
From Lucerne railway station: Take bus no. 1 (platform A) in the direction of Kriens/Obernau to the bus stop "Kriens, Zentrum Pilatus". The bus journey takes approx. 15 minutes.
Then follow the red signs to the valley station in Kriens (5 minutes on foot).
By bike
There are several bicycle parking spaces and a charging station for e-bikes right next to the valley station.
By car
Motorway A2 direction Lucerne, exit Lucerne Süd / Kriens.
At the valley station you will find car parks and 4 e-charging stations for electric cars.
Parking tariffs:
up to 30 minutes: free of charge
up to 1 hour: CHF 2.00
up to 4 hours: CHF 5.00
up to 9 hours: CHF 8.00
up to 24 hours: CHF 10.00
Important
Driving is prohibited on the mountain. Pilatus Kulm and the middle stations are not accessible by car.
Travelling to Alpnachstad
By public transport
From Lucerne railway station: Take the S5 train to Alpnachstad station. The train journey takes 17 minutes.
Or from Lucerne by boat from landing stage no. 2. The boat journey takes 50 - 90 minutes and is only available from May to October.
By car
Motorway A8 direction Sarnen/Interlaken, exit Alpnachstad.
Car parking spaces are available at the valley station.

up to 30 minutes: free of charge

up to 9 hours: CHF 8.00
up to 24 hours: CHF 10.00
Important
