Is it possible to upgrade to a higher room category?
Please contact our reception team or enquire about an upgrade directly via our digital guest directory - we will be happy to help you.
Is early check-in possible?
This is subject to room availability. You are also welcome to arrive earlier and report to reception as soon as you arrive on the mountain.
Can I have my luggage sent up?
Yes, that is possible! Please contact our railway staff directly on site.
Is the train journey included in my package?
This depends on the accommodation package you have booked. The services included in your package are listed on the confirmation. If you are unsure, our reception team will be happy to help you.
Can I take my dog with me?
Of course, dogs are very welcome on the Pilatus! If your four-legged friend stays in your room with you, we charge a surcharge of CHF 50 per night and animal. Please let us know before your arrival if your dog is accompanying you. Please note that dog food is not included in the price. We look forward to welcoming your dog too!
Where can I book additional services?
7 days before your arrival you will receive an e-mail from us with some important information about your stay. You will also have the opportunity to extend your visit with a wide range of additional services.
I have an accommodation voucher, how can I redeem it?
Our accommodation vouchers cannot be redeemed directly via our website. Please contact our reception team or book the offer corresponding to the voucher and leave your voucher number in the comments field.
As a hotel guest, can I make a seat reservation for the cog railway free of charge?
Yes, as a hotel guest you have the option of making a free seat reservation for the cog railway. Please contact our reception team with the desired departure time. A seat reservation is recommended for bookings in the high season.
Can I drive directly up to the hotel by car?
It is not possible to drive to the Pilatus Kulm Hotels by car. Please park your car at the valley stations in Kriens or Alpnachstad and use the mountain railways for the rest of your journey. You can find out more about travelling here.
Can I park for free as a hotel guest?
For hotel guests, the regular charges apply, which vary depending on the duration of the car park. Please pay for your exit ticket at the machines provided. You can find out more about travelling here.
As a hotel guest, do I have to book a table for the included dinner?
No, you don't have to worry about anything - we will reserve a nice table for you.
Until when can I cancel my reservation free of charge?
Our regular hotel stays can be cancelled free of charge up to 3 days before arrival (midnight). Please note that special events such as national holidays or New Year's Eve may result in deviations from the regular cancellation conditions. If you have booked the non-refundable rate, there is no possibility to cancel or postpone your stay free of charge.
