To reduce waiting times, we recommend making a seat reservation for the cogwheel railway in advance if the weather is good.

Fire ban in and near woodland

With immediate effect, it is prohibited to light fires in the forest and in the vicinity of the forest (50m).

Throughout the canton, the following are prohibited:
- Lighting fires at unpaved fire pits and the use of disposable barbecues.
- Setting off fireworks.
- Launching hot-air balloons or sky lanterns.

Specifically for Pilatus, this means:
Fire pits around Krienseregg (including Pilu Land) and Fräkmüntegg (including the rope park) will be cordoned off.
The barbecue area on the Drachenalp may still be used.
