Fire ban at Mount Pilatus

There is a total ban on fires in the canton of Lucerne. This means:
- No fires, not even in designated fire pits, fire bowls or fireplaces.
- No barbecuing on charcoal or disposable barbecues.
- Do not discard matches or smoking materials.
- Do not set off fireworks.
- No launching of hot-air balloons or sky lanterns.

In the cantons of Nidwalden and Obwalden, the fire ban applies in and around forests (within 50 metres). Only the barbecue area on the Drachenalp may be used.
