June to October
Flower trail to Tomlishorn
A hike through the alpine flora.
Free

The flower trail on Mount Pilatus is a small natural jewel: it leads from Pilatus Kulm to the Tomlishorn and offers hikers the opportunity to discover an impressive variety of alpine flowers in their natural environment - from creamy white alpine anemones to brightly coloured gentians.
Along the well-secured panoramic trail, informative signs provide interesting facts about the different plant species, their colours and flowering times. The breathtaking view of the Alpine panorama makes the walk an experience for all the senses.
With a bit of luck, you can also experience a special moment in the early morning or in the quiet evening hours: ibex climbing majestically along the rock faces can be observed particularly well at this time of day.
The flower trail is a lovingly designed gift from the Pro Pilatus association, which is dedicated to the protection and preservation of the Pilatus region.
